The American Legion in Grand Chute may have a rocky future.
That's thanks to a road assessment put forth by the town of Grand Chute that totals $115,000, a total that Legion cannot afford.
That's when an anonymous donor from the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region stepped forward, pledging to match all donations up to $10,000 through August 16th.
If you're interested in helping the American Legion, checks may be made out to the Wisconsin American Legion Foundation and have Post 38 noted on the memo portion of the check.
Gifts should be mailed to or dropped off at the Appleton American Legion Post 38, Attn: Road Fund at 3220 West College Avenue, Appleton, WI, 54914.
